Overview

Segundo Paraíso es una de las escasas incursiones en la prosa de la gran poetisa alemana Hilde Domin (Heidelberg, 1909-2006), que entre 1955 y 1961 residió prolongados periodos en España donde trabó amistad con intelectuales y escritores españoles, especialmente con Vicente Aleixandre, e intensificó su labor como traductora y transmisora de la cultura y literatura españolas en Alemania. Durante esos años colaboró en varios números de la revista malagueña de poesía Caracola. Y también durante ese tiempo gestó el manuscrito de El Segundo Paraíso.
